Social Day

The most beautiful museum of the world.

— Chateaubriand on Pompeii

Mitoraj Sculptures in PompeiiOn Saturday 9th, it will take place a trip as a well-deserved reward for your hard work. We encourage every attendees to attend the Social Day as we think it is the best way to establish good connections among the attendants and relax before leave. It will be completely organized by us.
So, how can you imagine to visit Naples without hanging out in one of the most suggestive and terrifying places of the world? Walking in the ancient streets of Pompeii you can feel how majestic that place was, even though the great eruption destroyed and buried it under volcanic ash and pumice in AD 79. The ruins cover a total of 64 to 67 hectares and it has UNESCO World Heritage Site status; is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy, with approximately 2.5 million visitors every year.

Dancing FaunA bus will take the Social Day participants to Pompeii. Here a tourist guide will show us the site and its most valuable places, as the theatre “Teatro Grande“. Pompeii is one of a kind: it is the best preserved Roman city, with beautiful ville, such as the Villa of the Mysteries, and houses, like the House of the Faun. On almost every wall you could see mosaics and frescos, they will help you to lose yourselves in Roman age. You will see thermae, the macellum (the ancient city market) and the forum, this way you could see how Pompeii inhabitants used to live. Furthermore, until January 2017, among Roman and Greek sculptures there will be 30 majestic ones by Igor Mitoraj.
